AN AUSTRALIAN CHRISTMAS PUNCH WITH A SPANISH TOUCH – PEACHY CAVA SANGRIA

dscn0433A great idea for drinking in the sunshine, and greet your guests at your Christmas feast.

INGREDIENTS

1 bottle of Spanish Cava, or your favourite sparkling wine

1/4 cup brandy

2 cups of peach juice, or nectar

1 can chilled soda water

1 cup blueberries

1 cup sliced nectaries

1 cup sliced peaches

METHOD

1- Simply combine the Cava, the brandy and  the peach juice  in a large jug.

2- Add sliced peaches, nectaries and blueberries.  Mix well with a spoon.

3- Keep the mixture in the fridge once it is made.

4- Add the can of chilled soda water just before you serve.

2- Serve in small glasses  or large wine glasses.

TIPS

  • All the ingredients should be very cold.
  • This punch should be served in larger wine glasses instead of Champagne flutes,  so you can see how beautiful the fruit looks.
